## Answers to common questions

**What does WARM do?**
WARM detects when a specific recording is broadcast on radio. You add a song, WARM fingerprints it, and from then on every airing across the monitored network is logged with the station, the exact time, the country and a running play count.

**How does WARM detect airplay?**
By audio fingerprinting, using ACRCloud. WARM listens to the monitored station network continuously and matches the audio against the fingerprints of the songs being tracked. Detection does not depend on a station reporting its own playlist, so it can catch plays that station-reported logs miss.

**What can I do with the data?**
Prove airplay to labels, partners and collecting societies; see which stations and countries a release is working in; time promotion and touring around real demand; and surface unreported plays that may be worth royalties.

Detections are made in real time and appear in the dashboard, rather than arriving in a monthly report.

Yes — weekly Top 100 charts ranked by measured radio airplay rather than by sales or streaming: a Global Dance chart and a Global Urban chart.
