WARM is proud to present the first member to its advisory board - Virginie Berger

Virginie Berger joins WARM as the first member of the advisory board.

The French music industry expert with the most impressive CV: Virginie Berger, CEO of Armonia Online has joined WARMs advisory board.

If you haven’t already heard about her, here is your chance to get to know her.

Virginie Berger has almost 20 years of experience in the music industry with high profile music, marketing, communication and international development experience.

She is currently the CEO of Armonia Online, the first worldwide hub licensing musical works for digital service providers and technologies within the music space.

In 2009 Berger created the music marketing website ‘Don’t Believe the Hype’, which ranked no.1 in the French speaking territories.
Later, in 2011, the successful website was developed into the agency DBTH with Berger as the founder. Today, DBTH is the leading creative and development agency for international creative people and brands. DBTH supplies independent artists with distribution, marketing, promotion, management and publicity.

Oh and by the way, she previously held various senior roles at Microsoft, Omnicom, NRJ and MySpace, which she joined early when the company was launched in France. Here she worked as the Head of Marketing and Content where she oversaw the new venture’s programming, music, brand strategy, and consumer and product marketing.

And last but not least, Berger has been the host of the radio show “On refait la musique” (“Music re-loaded”) on Radio Neo since 2011 and she is the author of the book “Music and Digital Strategies” from 2013.

We asked Berger a few questions about her thoughts regarding WARM and joining WARM’s advisory board.

Why did you decide to join the WARM advisory board?

I am a music lover and an artist supporter. For me it is the “artist first”…. I was one of the first in France to advocate for data direct to fans. I want to continue to change the market and support music and artists. WARM is a handy tool for the artists but also for their managers and booking agencies.

What do you think is the most essential thing that WARM brings to the music industry?

For a very small fee, WARM helps the creators to get more info about their radio coverage everywhere in the world, optimize their promotion geographically, target and support their booking.

Welcome to WARM, Virginie!
